• just in the root, create and update markdown (.md) docs
• create a /media directory for images, etc…
• update the navigation.html for the left column content - currently this is just a an unordered html list

• install jekyll - https://jekyllrb.com/
• run ‘make clean snappy-dev-docs’
• run ‘jekyll serve’
